Football Game Preview: South Haven Christian vs. Franklin Christian Academy

South Haven Christian will challenge Franklin Christian Academy on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.

Things haven't been easy for South Haven Christian, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to six. They were completely outmatched, falling 14-66 to Lighthouse Christian. Despite the defeat, South Haven Christian saw an underclassman step up: Sophomore Andrew Crawley passed for 118 yards and 1 touchdown. Crawley has now scored at least one touchdown in the past three games.

Meanwhile, Franklin Christian Academy faced The Webb School in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Franklin Christian Academy were dealt a punishing 8-56 loss at the hands of The Webb School. The state rankings had actually given Franklin Christian Academy a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
