The Ponderosa Bruins will head out on the road to challenge the Pioneer Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Ponderosa will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each game than the last.
Last Tuesday, Ponderosa made easy work of Nevada Union and carried off a 5-1 victory. That's two games straight that Ponderosa has won by exactly four goals.
They hit Nevada Union with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Colton Wells (2),
Theodore Barnum,
Alex Zimmerman, and
Parker Parsons.
Meanwhile, after a 8-0 finish the last time they played, Pioneer and Casa Roble decided to play a little more cautiously this time around. Pioneer won by a goal and slipped past Casa Roble 1-0.
Ponderosa's victory bumped their record up to 7-5-6. As for Pioneer, their win bumped their record up to 11-4-1.
