Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ava). They claimed a resounding 56-7 victory over the Cabool Bulldogs. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The victory got Ava back to even at 4-4. As for Cabool, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ava is set to challenge their familiar foe Willow Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cabool will square off against rival Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
