The Kelton Lions are still winless after their contest against the McLean Tigers on Tuesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. Kelton fell just short of McLean by a score of 30-28. Kelton has not had much luck with McLean recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Leading McLean to victory were Jayvon Salazar and Caleb Steward. Salazar scored four points along with 12 rebounds and three steals, while Steward scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Salazar hasn't dropped below ten rebounds for ten straight games.
Kelton's defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8. As for McLean, their victory bumped their record up to 6-15.
Kelton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for McLean, they will head out on the road to take on Follett at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Follett has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
