The Madison Patriots suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 57-20 loss at the hands of Mountain Heritage. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Madison has scored all season.
It was another big night for Lilly Neill, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and three steals for Mountain Heritage. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Neill has scored all season. Layla Worley was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Madison has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Mountain Heritage, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison will take on Mitchell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mountain Heritage, they will head out on the road to face off against Draughn at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Draughn is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
