The Lookout Valley Yellowjackets lost against the CSTHEA P Patriots last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Lookout Valley took a serious blow against CSTHEA P, falling 74-39. Lookout Valley has not had much luck with CSTHEA P recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
CSTHEA P's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jonathan Swanson, who scored 23 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Swanson has scored at least 25% of CSTHEA P's points. Another player making a difference was Ryan Swanson, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds.
Lookout Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for CSTHEA P, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.
Lookout Valley will head out on the road to face off against St. Andrews-Sewanee at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Andrews-Sewanee is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for CSTHEA P, they will be playing at home against Georgia-Cumberland Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
