The University Christian Christians will venture away from home to challenge the West Nassau Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (University Christian 2.3, West Nassau 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
University Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Riverside a 26-0 shutout on Tuesday. Considering the Christians have won ten contests by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Dixie Tessier and Piper Tessier made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Tessier pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Piper pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Dixie has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances. At the plate, Tessier went 3-for-4 with seven RBI, four runs, and two doubles, while Piper scored three runs while going 1-for-2. Those seven RBI gave Dixie a new career-high.
In other batting news, Elissa Murdock was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ava Surles, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
University Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, West Nassau got the win against Ponte Vedra on Thursday by a conclusive 9-0. That looming 9-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Warriors yet this season.
University Christian's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for West Nassau, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.
University Christian skirted past West Nassau 4-3 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Do the Christians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
