The Edison Spartans will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Mansfield Tigers at 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday.
Last Thursday, Edison ended up a good deal behind Watkins Glen and lost 66-50.
Meanwhile, Mansfield earned a 62-49 victory over Towanda on Friday.
Karson Dominick was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds. He set a new season high mark in steals with four. Cooper Shaw was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six assists and five steals.
Edison now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Mansfield, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.
Edison suffered a grim 65-42 defeat to Mansfield in their previous meeting back in December of 2014. Thankfully for Edison, Bo Burleigh (who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 12 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
