If Aurora wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played McCook, they should've done a better job of containing Tristan Campbell. The Bison came out on top against the Huskies by a score of 27-20 on Friday with plenty of help from Campbell, who rushed for 156 yards and three scores. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced three fumbles and made ten total tackles.

Despite the loss, Aurora had strong showings from Wyatt Pollet, who rushed for 121 yards on only 15 carries, and Canon Allen, who picked up 117 receiving yards and one TD.

McCook has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 34.0 points this season. As for Aurora, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, McCook will challenge Waverly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Aurora, they will head out to face off against Wahoo on Friday.
