It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Fennimore ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Cuba City Cubans 5-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in April.

Shawn Jahnke-Fiedler was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Fennimore and bumps their season record up to 11-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for Cuba City, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Fennimore is set to challenge their familiar foe Iowa-Grant at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cuba City will square off against rival Mineral Point at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
