They really took it to Lexington School for the Deaf for the full four quarters, racking up a 74-45 win on the road. Marie Philip's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Marie Philip's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Jeremy Novas, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 17 rebounds, and Xavier DeLeon, who scored 25 points along with five rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Novas has scored all season. Stokely Karp was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, Covenant Christian Academy suffered a tough 56-34 loss at the hands of Boston University Academy on Wednesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Covenant Christian Academy has scored all season.
Marie Philip is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. As for Covenant Christian Academy, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
