Dixie waltzed into their contest on Thursday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They blew past Ware Shoals 8-2. Dixie might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.

Dixie's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Ware Shoals, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dixie will face off against Thornwell at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ware Shoals, they will challenge GREEN Upstate at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
