Frankfort came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Southmont, but Vince Reimondo wouldn't allow it. The Southmont Mounties took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 90-59 win over the Frankfort Hot Dogs thanks to Reimondo, who went 11-for-17 on his way to 27 points. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game.

Another player making a difference was Heath Tolliver, who posted eight points and six rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (two).

Frankfort's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lucas Waggoner, who put up 15 points. Gabe Montalvo also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Southmont, bringing their record for this year to 14-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.3 points over those games. As for Frankfort, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-19 record this season.

Southmont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 51-40 win against Fountain Central on the 22nd. As for Frankfort, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 78-55 loss against Logansport on the 22nd.
