Carroll is 9-1 against Fort Wayne Snider since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Chargers will square off against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Carroll will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
Carroll not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 2nd (when they won 11-0). Everything went their way against Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran as they made off with a 10-4 victory. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Cadets recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Kyle Young looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has become a key player for Carroll: the team is undefeated when he allows at most one hit, but 11-13 otherwise.
At the plate, Jaxon Sparks and Eric Tratnyek did most of the damage at the plate: Sparks went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI, while Tratnyek got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most runs Tratnyek has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Zavier Edgar, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Carroll hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Fort Wayne Snider has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.85 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They came up short against Penn, falling 22-3. The Panthers have struggled against the Kingsmen recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.
Fort Wayne Snider saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Mohrman, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.
Carroll now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Fort Wayne Snider, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-6.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Thursday. Carroll hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.4 home runs per game. However, it's not like Fort Wayne Snider struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.4 home runs.
