Boulder Creek's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Matt Delgado, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Delgado has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Landon Brewer, who scored 15 points.
Ring Nyeri continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Liberty, dropping a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds. Nyeri hasn't dropped below 17 points for five straight games. Stephan Miller was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds.
Boulder Creek's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Liberty, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-9.
Boulder Creek will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Arizona (Pinnacle is ranked 34th, while the Jaguars are ranked 15th). As for Liberty, they will head out on the road to face off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. O'Connor is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
