Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hanover-Horton). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Homer Trojans 54-6. The victory continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won three in a row.

Hanover-Horton's record is now 4-2. As for Homer, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Hanover-Horton will challenge Vandercook Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Comets will be up against the Jayhawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.33 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Homer, they will face off against Addison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
