West Mifflin has gone a perfect 8-0 against Uniontown recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Titans will venture away from home to square off against the Red Raiders at 4:15 p.m. West Mifflin's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Uniontown's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
On Wednesday, West Mifflin earned a 9-4 victory over Belle Vernon.

RYLIE DOBNAK

04/14/25 @ Elizabeth Forward | 7 |
04/11/25 vs Laurel Highlands | 13 |
RYLIE DOBNAK spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on MIA BEY, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. CALEIGH IGNAT also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
Uniontown let Belle Vernon stack five runs on them in the second inning on Thursday but luckily Uniontown prevailed anyway. The Red Raiders had just enough and edged out the Leopards 6-5.
Emmaleigh Noah made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). Noah was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Juliet White was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Alexa Budner, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
West Mifflin has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Uniontown, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
West Mifflin was able to grind out a solid victory over Uniontown when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 6-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
