After four games on the road, Robinson is heading back home. They will take on the Carson Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Thursday, Robinson was able to grind out a solid win over West Rowan, taking the game 71-63. The win was just what Robinson needed coming off of a 87-36 defeat in their prior game.
Robinson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brian Rowe led the charge by scoring 17 points. Da'montre Harlee was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Meanwhile, Carson had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.2 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They managed a 65-59 win over Concord.
Robinson's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Carson, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
Robinson strolled past Carson when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 57-43. Does Robinson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Carson turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
