The Briar Woods Falcons won the last time they faced the Loudoun Valley Vikings, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Briar Woods claimed a resounding 60-27 win over Loudoun Valley at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Briar Woods.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Briar Woods to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hope Drake, who scored 10 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Noelle Cabiness, who scored 10 points along with 7 rebounds.
Briar Woods' win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Loudoun Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Briar Woods will head out on the road to face off against Broad Run at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Loudoun Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lightridge at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
