The Tri Titans will head out on the road to face off against the North Decatur Chargers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Tri will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Tri proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Northeastern 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Titans have posted since June 1, 2024.

Macey Ballard spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 15 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Lyla Williams, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.
Meanwhile, North Decatur lost 13-4 to Hauser on Thursday. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Jets recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.
Emma Schoettmer was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Brooklyn White was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
Tri pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 11.7 runs this season. As for North Decatur, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3.
North Decatur's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Monday. Tri has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 10.6 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for North Decatur, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.8 strikeouts. Will Tri keep running through batters, or will the Chargers buck the trend?
Everything went Tri's way against North Decatur in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Tri made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
