The Lehman Catholic Cavaliers suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They were dealt a 47-11 defeat at the hands of Miami East. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lehman Catholic in their matchups with Miami East: they've now lost six in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Miami East to victory, but perhaps none more so than Camryn Francis, who scored 13 points. Francis' trending in the right direction, as she's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Mckayah Musselman, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and three steals.
Lehman Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Miami East, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.
Lehman Catholic will play host again and welcome Bethel, where tip off is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Bethel has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 9. As for Miami East, they will head out on the road to take on Milton-Union at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. Milton-Union is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
