With a playoff game on the line, the Trinity Episcopal Titans rose to the challenge on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 30-28 win over Flint Hill. The win was familiar territory for Trinity Episcopal who now have four in a row.
Trey Grant was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 131 yards and three touchdowns.
Despite the defeat, Flint Hill had strong showings from Joshua Clarke, who gained 98 total yards and two touchdowns, and Victor McNeal, who picked up 57 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Trinity Episcopal's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Flint Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
Trinity Episcopal will head out on the road to face off against Benedictine at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Benedictine will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. Flint Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
