Brayden Hayes posted a new career-high in hits on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he went 3-for-4 with six RBI and one double. That double was his first of the season.

Hayes' strong effort led Northeast Jones over Morton and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers are a perfect 5-0 against the Panthers going back to March of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
