The Coolidge Bears will head out to take on the Ray Bearcats at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Coolidge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.2 runs per game this season.
Coolidge made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Apache Junction, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Coolidge blew past Apache Junction 21-2 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won four matches by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Destiny Joaquin was incredible, firing off three triples, five runs, and two RBI while getting on base in five of her seven plate appearances. Those three triples gave her a new career-high. Natasha Juan was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Coolidge kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Ray's offense. They came up short against Anthem Prep on Tuesday, falling 15-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Bearcats were not able to get on the board.
Ray saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Makayla Barajas, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.
The win got Coolidge back to even at 4-4. As for Ray, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-4.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Coolidge has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .456. However, it's not like Ray struggles in that department as they've averaged .581. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Coolidge skirted past Ray 6-4 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Will Coolidge repeat their success, or does Ray has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
