The Mill Creek Bullfrogs's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Oklahoma School for the Deaf Bison at 8:00 p.m. on February 5th. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, Mill Creek didn't have too much trouble with the Warriors on the road as they won 42-23.
Meanwhile, Oklahoma School for the Deaf came tearing into Saturday's game with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 71-34 victory over New Mexico School for the Deaf on the road. Oklahoma School for the Deaf has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Oklahoma School for the Deaf's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but RyJan Reininger led the charge by shooting 4-for-8 from beyond the arc and dropping a double-double on 28 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Landen Fewel, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 steals.
Mill Creek's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Oklahoma School for the Deaf, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Mill Creek against the Bison when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 55-28 victory. With Mill Creek ahead 42-15 at the half, the game was all but over already.
