The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears lost against the Cedar Catholic Trojans last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Laurel-Concord-Coleridge fell 50-40 to Cedar Catholic. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Laurel-Concord-Coleridge has scored all season.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyler Olson, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kolby Hansen, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Cedar Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Winnebago at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th. Winnebago is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Cedar Catholic, they will be playing at home against Wynot on Tuesday.
