Big Game from Ginyard As Eastern Won 40-15
Starting off the list is Eastern's Daquan Ginyard, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Ginyard rushed for 217 yards. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 145 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Eastern is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Ginyard and Eastern will be playing at home against Woodson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Roosevelt Gets a Boost from Smith in 35-0 Win
Roosevelt found a leader in Deyon Smith as the team took down Jackson-Reed on Saturday. Smith was dynamite, rushing for 51 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, while also picking up 35 receiving yards.
Unfortunately for Jackson-Reed, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Smith. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Smith saw the Tigers), he rushed for 145 yards.

Jamal Gilmore Turns in Season-Best Effort
Roosevelt was led to victory by Jamal Gilmore, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Saturday. Gilmore picked up 106 receiving yards and a touchdown.
For the year, Gilmore has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 57.3 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 4.67 receiving yards per game.

David Anderson Makes It Three for Roosevelt
Another Roosevelt player making an appearance on this list is David Anderson. He threw for 175 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes.
Anderson and Roosevelt will take on Dunbar at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup will pit Anderson up against the Crimson Tide's star quarterback Brosnan Dukes. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
