The Livingston Manor Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their seventh straight loss. They took a hard 48-30 fall against New Paltz.
New Paltz got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kalle Masseo out in front who scored 18 points along with six steals and two blocks. That makes it three consecutive games in which Masseo has scored at least a third of New Paltz's points. Another player making a difference was Annika Walsh, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Livingston Manor's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for New Paltz, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Livingston Manor will take on Tri-Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Paltz, they will be playing at home against Wallkill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Wallkill has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 373 points over their last six contests.
