After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dutch Fork, the Chapin Eagles were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They secured a 37-33 W over White Knoll. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Chapin also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Chapin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Reagan Haggard, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds. Haggard has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sami Stephenson, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds.
Chapin's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-9. As for White Knoll, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-21 record this season.
Chapin will head out on the road to face off against River Bluff at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. River Bluff is coming into the contest with five straight defeats at home, meaning Chapin will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. White Knoll does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
