Despite the defeat, Clover Hill saw an underclassman step up: Cara Barker scored eight points.
Cosby's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-10. As for Clover Hill, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cosby will take on Thomas Dale at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Thomas Dale has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,469 points over their last 19 matchups. As for Clover Hill, they will head out on the road to square off against Manchester at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Clover Hill has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Manchester will arrive with 12 straight wins.
