Morristown-Beard took a 54-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Parsippany. Morristown-Beard has not had much luck with Parsippany recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Leading Parsippany to victory were Thomas Niedermaier and Arthur Smith. Niedermaier scored 25 points, while Smith scored 17 points along with two steals. Niedermaier has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last seven times he's played. Milan Vega was another key contributor, scoring four points along with six rebounds.
Morristown-Beard dropped their record down to 2-10 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Parsippany, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
Morristown-Beard will head out on the road to take on Pequannock at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pequannock presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Morristown-Beard in New Jersey (Pequannock is ranked 126th, while Morristown-Beard is ranked 367th). As for Parsippany, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Mountain Lakes at 7:00 p.m.
