Meanwhile, Carver Birmingham's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. They fell just short of Hayden by a score of 39-37. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Carver Birmingham has suffered yet this season.
Jasper is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for Carver Birmingham, they dropped their record down to 2-15 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
