The Grulla Gators will face off against the Ingleside Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Two weeks ago, Grulla was the victim of a tough 28-7 defeat at the hands of Port Isabel. Grulla has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Ingleside unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Friday. They took a serious blow against Sinton, falling 42-14. Ingleside has not had much luck with Sinton recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Although Ingleside took the loss, they still got scores from Javier Solis iii and Jaydon Smith.
Grulla has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Ingleside, their loss dropped their record down to 9-1.
