Hampshire Regional put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Agawam Brownies with a sharp 11-1 victory. Considering the Raiders have won six games by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Ryanne Dubay1 spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
At the plate, Caelyn Thayor was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Teagan Charles, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
Hampshire Regional always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Agawam only posted an OBP of .296.
Hampshire Regional's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0.
