Lawrence-Nelson won the last time they faced Harvard and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Raiders narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Cardinals 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Raiders have posted since October 19, 2024.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Lawrence-Nelson got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 23-25, 25-22.

Lawrence-Nelson found their leader in sophomore Victoria Koehler, who had ten digs and one assist. Hadley Ostdiek also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Lawrence-Nelson was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 21 aces. They served 11 more aces than Harvard's also-impressive total of ten.

Lawrence-Nelson's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7. As for Harvard, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Coincidentally, Lawrence-Nelson and Harvard will both be playing Kenesaw the next time they take the court. The Raiders will head out to face the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Cardinals will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
