The Douglass Eagles won the last time they faced the Central Falcons, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Douglass took their game at home with ease, bagging a 85-49 victory over Central. With Douglass ahead 43-19 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Emmanuel Carson was a one-man wrecking crew for Douglass as he scored 26 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kwari Harvey, who scored 11 points along with seven assists and five steals.
Douglass now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Central, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-2.
Douglass will square off against Surrattsville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central, they will be playing at home against Largo at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
