On Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Spring Valley beat Oceanside Collegiate Academy 53-49.
It was another big night for Joshua Nelson, who scored 25 points. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Temoney, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Spring Valley's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Oceanside Collegiate Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.
Spring Valley and Lower Richland will face off at 2:30 p.m. on December 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Oceanside Collegiate Academy and Pinewood Prep will face off at 3:00 p.m. on December 28th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Pinewood Prep will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
