Arkansas Christian Academy are packing up and hiking across state lines for their contest on Friday. They will challenge Destiny Christian on the road at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes : the MaxPreps national rankings predict a close match.
Arkansas Christian Academy fought the good fight in their overtime matchup last week but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. Arkansas Christian Academy didn't finish too far behind, but the team still lost 22-28 to Unity Christian Academy. Arkansas Christian Academy got a solid performance out of senior Markeseon Taylor, who rushed for 162 yards and 2 touchdowns; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 8-56, which was the final score in Destiny Christian's tilt against Shattuck.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies that hunger and which team leaves with an empty belly.
