The Climax-Scotts Panthers had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 53-41 victory over Quincy on Tuesday. For Climax-Scotts, this counts as revenge for the 82-40 defeat Quincy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2016.
Quincy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryan Kempter, who scored eight points. Another player making a difference was Grant Carter, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Climax-Scotts' win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11. As for Quincy, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.
Climax-Scotts didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-36 loss vs. Colon on the 9th. Quincy has also already played their next match, a 52-47 loss against Maple Valley on the 9th.
