The Middle Tennessee Christian Cougars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 12th straight defeat. They were dealt a 81-44 defeat at the hands of The Webb School. While losing is never fun, Middle Tennessee Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 328th, while the Feet are ranked 66th).
Taveon Comage was his usual excellent self, scoring 35 points along with five rebounds for The Webb School. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Comage has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Eli Brown, who scored 12 points.
Middle Tennessee Christian dropped their record down to 1-19 with that defeat, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for The Webb School, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-9.
Middle Tennessee Christian will be playing at home against the Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for The Webb School, they will head out on the road to take on the Tigers at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. University School of Nashville is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
