Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake George). They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Argyle Scots 66-30. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Lakers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Lake George's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ricky Stroup led the charge by dropping a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Eli Brown, who went 6 of 8 on his way to 12 points and six steals.

Lake George's victory bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Argyle, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake George will square off against Granville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Granville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Lake George likes a good challenge. As for Argyle, they will welcome Fort Edward at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
