It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Zion Chapel Rebels can now relate to. They took a serious blow against the Flying Squadron on Thursday, falling 73-46. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Zion Chapel of the 59-48 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture two weeks ago.
Several Rebels players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hayden Speckert, who scored six points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Legear, who scored 11 points.
Zion Chapel's loss dropped their record down to 21-9. As for Highland Home, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.
Zion Chapel does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Highland Home also has no future games currently scheduled.
