As a matter of fact, that's the most points Evans has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Andersen, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
When it comes to explaining why Medicine Valley lost, one person who can't be blamed is Stella Heapy. Despite the final result, she scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Heapy has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Remmi Stout was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three steals.
Bertrand's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Medicine Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
Bertrand will square off against Cambridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cambridge is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. As for Medicine Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mullen at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
