The Johnson City Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. Everything went their way against Lometa as Johnson City made off with a 66-42 win. That looming 66-42 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Johnson City yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Johnson City to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kp Coble, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 18 rebounds. Coble also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Walker Jackson, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Johnson City's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Lometa, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Johnson City will be home for the holidays to greet Mason at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mason comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Lometa will be home for the holidays to greet Paint Rock at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
