Magnolia gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They put the hurt on the Nashville Scrappers with a sharp 30-6 win. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Scrappers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Jamaijha Marshall was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 177 yards and one touchdown while picking up 9.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 33 receiving yards and one score. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 60 yards. Ike Ainsworth also helped out as he racked up 104 rushing yards.
