There's no place like home for Morehead, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Thursday. They never let the T.W. Andrews Red Raiders get on the board and left with  a   17-0  victory  on Monday. With that  win, the Panthers brought their scoring average up to 6.2  runs per game.
 Ella Wade made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and not a single walk). Wade was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in March.
 In other batting news, Morehead got a  massive  performance out of  Jenna Mauney, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  triple. That  triple was  Mauney's first of the season.  Dayln Hutchens was another key player,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs, two  doubles,  and one  triple.
 Morehead was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .769. They are  a perfect 6-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
The  victory snapped Morehead's losing streak at three games  and leaves them with a 7-12 record. As for T.W. Andrews, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with the  defeat, which was their fifth straight  on the road.
As of now, neither Morehead nor the Red Raiders have any future games scheduled.
