The third road contest was the charm for the Hardin Hornets, as they earned their first road win of the season. They put the hurt on Hull-Daisetta with a sharp 71-46 victory on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Hardin also won the last time the pair played last Tuesday.
It was another big night for Ricko Denman, who scored 24 points along with 7 steals and 6 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Hardin's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josue Ibarra, who scored 11 points along with 9 rebounds and 7 assists.
Hardin's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Hull-Daisetta, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Hardin will head out on the road to face off against Hull-Daisetta at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hull-Daisetta has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for they, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hardin at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Hardin focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Saturday.
