After three games on the road, Butte Central Catholic is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Polson Pirates at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Saturday, Butte Central Catholic had to suffer through a rough 67-24 loss at the hands of Browning. Butte Central Catholic has struggled against Browning recently, as their match on Saturday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Polson was beaten by Bigfork 52-13 on Tuesday.
Mckenna Hanson was Polson's leading scorer, having posted six points. Hanson also led the team in rebounds with 11.
Butte Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Polson, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Butte Central Catholic beat Polson 47-40 in their previous matchup back in February of 2022. Will Butte Central Catholic repeat their success, or does Polson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
