Taylor's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the St. John Lutheran Saints 62-28. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 27 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Taylor to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jace Harcus, who went 7 of 8 to rack up 15 points and three steals. The dominant performance also gave Harcus a new career-high in shooting accuracy (88%). Another player making a difference was James Thomas, who posted eight points along with six boards and five steals.

Taylor smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 25 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Despite the defeat, St. John Lutheran saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jesse Williams earned eight points and 13 rebounds.

Taylor's record now sits at 14-6. As for St. John Lutheran, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Taylor didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-26 victory against Angeline Academy of Innovation on the 3rd. As for St. John Lutheran, they have also already played their next game, a 67-23 loss against Seven Rivers Christian on the 5th.
