Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM) and the host Chaparral Lobos (Chaparral, NM), saw Deming's baseball squad knock off Chaparral by a count of 16-1.

The Lobos now possess a 1-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Santa Teresa for a battle on Saturday, April 28. Chaparral will play a Desert Warriors squad coming off a 10-1 league loss to Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM). The Desert Warriors record now stands at 9-9.
